There will be a short meeting for all tennis players, and those interested in playing next year, right after school on Tuesday May 22.
This Sunday May 20th, there will be a partial eclipse of the sun. The moon will cover over 80% or the sun. This won’t happen again for over five years. The eclipse starts at 6:18 pm and goes until 8:32 pm with the maximum about 7:30 pm. Weather permitting, everyone is invited to a Solar Eclipse Party at the picnic tables by the tennis courts starting about 7:15 pm. We will have solar viewing glass and a solar telescope set up. Bring some munchies to share. If you can’t come, step outside and enjoy the eclipse wherever you are.

1) NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITHOUT APPROPRIATE EYE PROCTION. This can damage your eyes.
2) Use shade 14 welders glass or commercial solar glasses.
3) If you don’t have a filter, project the eclipse with a pinhole or hole punch.
RHS Boys Basketball Summer Kids Camp
Where: Roy High School Gymnasiums
When: May 29th – June 1st
Who: Boys entering grades 3rd – 12th
Times: 3rd – 6th Grades: 9am - 11am (Small Gym)
7th – 9th Grades: 9am – 11am (Large Gym)
10th – 12th Grades: 12pm – 2pm (Large Gym)
Cost: $40 to Roy High School before May 25th or $45 on day of camp (May 29th 8am–9am)
