Notice that Weber School District Considers “Black Mamba” to be an imitation controlled substance Weber School District is concerned about a drug that has gained popularity in our communtiy that reportedly gives the similar “high” as that of marijuana. The drug goes by many names, including Black Mamba, Pep Spice, Bliss, Dragon Bombay Blue (scientific name – Damaina). Weber School District wants to inform students and parents that “Black Mamaba” is consered an “imitation controlled substance” and its possession, use, distribution, or sale on school property or while attending a school activity is a violation of Weber School District Policy 5210 Alcohol and Druge Abuse Policy. This may result in disciplinary action.

Beginning summer 2010, Summer school will take on a different look. We are exploring an online curriculum to use for summer school which will be more cost effective than the traditional summer school model. More details will be available by May.
